Episode 53 – The Republic of Thieves by Scott Lynch Chapters 5 and 6

In this episode, we spend a lot of time with Sabetha, and spend a lot of time comparing Locke and Sabetha to Kvothe and Denna. Who writes the better version of star crossed lovers? We’ll discuss it on this episode.

Predictions:

Locke and Jean will find a way to return to Karthain and get back in the game.
In the interlude the “acting” mission will go poorly, and the five Gentlemen Bastards will have to protect each other.
Locke’s mother is a Bondsmage.
Locke’s missing memories are because of something that the Bondsmages did to him as a child.
