In this episode we encounter the Cthaeh. The Cthaeh is the most evil thing that we have encountered in these books. This is some serious foulness. The Cthaeh stinks. You can smell the Nair on it’s hairless little legs. Yuck!
We have a brief history lesson. Then we start our ninja training!
Predictions:
- Something very tragic will happen at the Lackless door. I suspect that Kvothe will accidentally release Iax upon the world.
- The Tehlin Church is filled with Chandrian Propoganda. None of what you read in the Tehlin Path is accurate.
- Felurian is not like the other Fey. Perhaps she is singular and set apart from the rest of the Fey by virtue of being a Piksie.
- Iax is Jax, who is the baddest mother shaper of them all.
- The name “Haliax” has significant meaning. I’m thinking it means “traitor,” or “Iax returned,” or something of that ilk.
- The ending of The Wise Man’s Fear will have some very tragic elements.
